For all that Amelie constantly refers to Grace’s Fletchling as ‘a waste of feathers’ they definitely have some kind of bond there, because the instant Amelie hears that she is off to pick a fight with a bird.

“You might want to cut in; Amelie has no idea how to de-escalate a situation.”
